Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic therapy consists of exercises performed in our heated, indoor pool under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Exercising in the water is especially beneficial for those patients who are having difficulty or are experiencing pain while performing exercises on land, against gravity. Exercising in the water decreases pain levels by encouraging muscle relaxation and increases strength by having muscles work against the natural resistance of water. We have taken the opportunity to provide a state of the art indoor facility for all patients that has an incredible athletic feel to our facility.
Salt Water Therapy: Swimming in a salt water pool is better on the joints and muscles than a traditional chlorinated pool. Salt water contains bromide, a mineral that helps relieve those everyday aches, pains and soreness we all feel deep within our joints and muscles.
